Hybrid Fantasy Basketball

Privacy Policy

Updated October 7, 2026

This policy explains how Hybrid Fantasy Basketball uses information when you visit hybridfantasy.com, join a league, or use support.

Information used by the service

Sign-in uses ChatGPT. The site receives an account identifier to recognize you and connect you to your leagues. Your ChatGPT password is handled by the sign-in provider, not by this application.

Impossible mode stores account-linked attempts and their assignments, limited to one first attempt and one optional Instagram-follow bonus. If you win, your chosen public username, score, and completion date appear in the public Hall of Fame with no automatic expiry.

We use a random browser identifier in local storage to count visitors, page views, and challenge participation. Analytics retain hashed browser and account identifiers, generalized page paths, dates, and challenge scores. We do not store IP addresses or visitor names in these analytics. Signed-in activity may be grouped by account. Analytics are visible only to the site owner.

We store league and team names, manager display names, membership, settings, draft picks, rosters, lineups, trades, trade-view records, waiver activity, and matchup results. Team logos you upload are also stored. If you email support, your email address and message are received through email.

How information is used and shared

We use this information to operate leagues, save changes, calculate results, manage invitations, respond to questions, and protect the service. Other members of your league can see manager display names, team names, rosters, results, and shared league activity. Trade offers and view receipts are shown to the relevant participants; draft queues are private to their owner.

Hosting, authentication, storage, and email providers process information needed to deliver their services. Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser information, and request logs. Their handling of information is also covered by their own policies. We may disclose information when required by law or to investigate abuse or protect the service.

AI support

If you use AI chat, the conversation you submit is sent to OpenAI to generate a response. When league context is supplied, its scoring settings and format are included. The application keeps the active conversation in memory and stores account-linked hourly request counts for rate limiting. Provider processing and retention follow the provider’s applicable terms. Do not include passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information in chat.

Cookies and device storage

Sign-in and hosting may use cookies for authentication and security. The installed website caches icons and an offline page on your device. Browser storage may also hold local preferences and practice-draft information. Removing website data can reset these local items or sign you out; it does not delete saved league records.

Retention and requests

Saved league information remains in the service until it is removed. Security, email, and provider records may have separate retention periods. Contact support to request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your account. We may need to verify ownership and consider records shared with other league members or records needed for legal or security purposes.

Contact and updates

For privacy questions or requests, email jmcobin2@gmail.com. We will update this page when our practices change and identify the updated date here.
